About Jana

I love colour and shapes. Inspiration can come from anywhere, but I particularly gravitate towards architectural forms and cityscapes. In my work, I strive to see connections between seemingly unrelated forms, blurring the lines between reality and imagination.

Born and raised in Germany, my artistic journey began in my late teens. After moving to the UK, I worked for many years as a filmmaker. Eight years ago, I returned to painting and creating, honing my skills under the mentorship of artist Kate Hardy. This experience helped me develop a unique approach to painting and mixed media work. I now live and work in East London.
